The mission of Fondren Renaissance Foundation
is to facilitate the physical restoration and revitalization of
the residential neighborhoods and commercial districts in Fondren
area. FRF presents The Four Seasons of The Cedars
Performing and Visual Arts Series at the Cedars, featuring a new
art show every season or quarter of the year.Fondren Renaissance
Foundation also sponsors and coordinates two annual arts and cultural
events in the Historic Fondren Business District - Arts, Eats &
Beats in April each year and Fondren Unwrapped in November each
year. FRF also sponsors and presents the monthly series of art walks
in the business district, called ARTMix, held on the first Thursday
of every month, September through March.

The Greater Jackson Arts Council
is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works in public/private
partnership with the City of Jackson and the Jackson Convention
& Visitors Bureau. Our agency also receives public funding from
the Mississippi Arts Commission, Hinds County Board of Supervisors,
U.S. Department of Education, and the National Endowment for the
Arts. Additionally, our programs and services are supported by private
foundations, corporate donors, our volunteer board of directors,
and individuals committed to cultural development in the city.
