The Crossroads Film Society is dedicated to providing
access and promoting discussion of international, national, and
local film projects. The Society engages in year-round programming,
including special events, lectures, workshops, and an annual film
festival, which offers a competition in the categories of Feature
Film, Short, Documentary, Experimental, Foreign, Student, Music
Video and Animation.
Of particular interest to the Societ is film content
related to Mississippi and the South. Membership in the Film Society
provides access to special events, festival discounts and free screening
year-round.

The Greater Jackson Arts Council
is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works in public/private
partnership with the City of Jackson and the Jackson Convention
& Visitors Bureau. Our agency also receives public funding from
the Mississippi Arts Commission, Hinds County Board of Supervisors,
U.S. Department of Education, and the National Endowment for the
Arts. Additionally, our programs and services are supported by private
foundations, corporate donors, our volunteer board of directors,
and individuals committed to cultural development in the city.
