Mississippi Puppetry Guild was established
in 1981 to promote puppetry as an art form, sponsor workshops and
festivals, and present excellent examples of professional puppetry
to Mississippi. The Guild dedicates its programs to developing
puppetry arts in Mississippi and offers free advice and technical
expertise to individual puppeteers and puppetry groups around the
state.
Annual Highlights include the Puppetry Jam each
spring at the Mississippi Agriculture Museum, a Black History Month
Celebration, a summer fun series, and holiday programs.
